Today, everyone can tour these beautiful cottages and learn more on the history of the island.

Serve it up: Prefer tennis? The Jekyll Island Tennis Center offers 13 clay courts set among beautiful landscaping.
Go with the flow: At Summer Waves Water Park! More than a million gallons of splashing water fun, with 11 acres of rides, thrills, food, excitement, and cool summer times. Summer Waves is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day (Summer Waves).
Lots of family fun: 15 miles of paved bike and jogging trails, miniature golf, kayaking, windsurfing, horseback riding, deep-sea fishing, dolphin cruises, sightseeing tours, miles of beachcombing, shell collecting, bird & turtle watching with turtle walks.

Music, music & more music: Complete your summers by attending the Beach Music Festival held annually in August. This festival is just one of the events throughout the year that bring thousands of visitors to the island for an afternoon of music, food, and fun on the beach. (Held at the beach deck located next to the Days Inn & Suites.) Other events include 4th of July Celebration and Holiday Island
The Jekyll Island Soccer Complex: Since its opening in 1998, it has hosted a variety of exhibition and championship matches for junior and adult scholastic and club teams.
Jekyll Island Convention Center: Located adjacent to the Days Inn & Suites, this center offers over 55,000 square feet of versatile meeting and banquet space.
Venturing out into Georgia's Colonial Coast: With its central location, Jekyll Island offers the perfect location to visit several points of interest within an hours drive: Savannah, GA, Fort King George, Sapelo Island, Hofwyl Broadfield Plantation, St. Simons Island, Cumberland Island National Seashore, and Okefenokee Swamp Park.
Tidelands Nature Center: (located next to Summer Waves Water Park). Stop by and visit a young sea turtle, acorn snake, fish, and other species native to Georgia's coast! Canoe rentals and kayak tours. Sign up for nature walks to the beach and marsh. Group programs available. Summer day camps. Tidelands is a University of Georgia 4-H program (Tidelands Nature Center).
Emerald Princess Casino Boat Cruise: Enjoy a trip on board this luxurious new gambling boat, cruising daily from the Jekyll Island Causeway along the Atlantic Ocean. Entertainment, gaming and casual dining available. Guests must be 21 years of age to sail, presenting an official government photo ID card,such as a valid drivers license and/or passport.
