 Jekyll Island is Georgia’s largest public golf resort with 63 holes on three 18-hole courses – Oleander, Indian Mound and Pine Lakes and the historic Great dunes 9-hole course (Visit Web Site).
Dick Wilson’s OLEANDER design is consistently ranked among the state’s best courses.
Joe Lee designed INDIAN MOUND course with wide fairways and large sloping greens. Cut through woods and beautiful lakes, the layout showcases Jekyll Island’s spectacular scenery.
PINE LAKES course went through a 3.2 million dollar project in 2002-2003, by designer Clyde Johnston. This brand new course features lakes, bunkers, new irrigation and cart paths and completely redesigned greens.
The historic GREAT DUNES 9 – hole course remodeled in the 1920’s by Walter J. Travis, is an authentic links course with elevated tees, small greens and prevailing ocean breezes.
The Jekyll Island Golf Center is complete with driving range, putting green, bunker, and professional instruction. The Golf Pro Shop offers a full range of golf equipment and apparel, golf carts and rental clubs. Before or after your round, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Morgan’s Grill, a full-service restaurant and lounge.
